背 景 CP29A encodes a nuclear gene with a consensus RNA-binding domain that is localized to the chloroplast. It stabilizes specific chloroplast mRNAs. It is required for normal chloroplast development under cold stress conditions by stabilizing transcripts of numerous mRNAs under these conditions. |
