GID2 is essential component of some SCF-type E3 ligase complex that positively regulates the gibberellin signaling pathway. Upon gibberellin treatment, the complex mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of DELLA protein SLR1, a repressor of the gibberellin pathway, leading to activate the pathway. |
